Filling online Pre-Admission form for Academic Year 2024-25

Step 1 : Online University Pre-Admission Form Submission

Student has to fill up the details in the Mumbai University enrolment form online which is available on https://mumoa.digitaluniversity.ac/ webstie. After university form submission online students need to fill college form online available on our website or can download offline form and submit to the college manually.

Step 2 : Online College Pre-Admission Form Submission

All students should note that they should fill up their pre-admission form online. For this they will have to log on to college website www.abhaycollege.com as per Mumbai University guidelines.

The college website mentioned above has a stepwise easy to use procedure, which can be read by students before filling up the form. All students must bring al required documents at the time of admission. In order to fill up the above mentioned pre-admission form a student will need Login ID and Password which is available at the end of the instructions page in the prospectus.

Once a student follows the procedure given on the website, he/she will be able to successfully take a printout of the college pre-admission form.

Students are advised to use online payment system as far as possible otherwise they can pay their fees in cash in the college office as per Mumbai University guidelines.

Thereafter the eligible student bring the printout of pre-admission form and University enrollment form and online fee payment moept of pay students are expected to come to college for completion of admission procedure as per the schedule declared by University. The students University enrollment form with relevant documents.

The detailed instructions for sing up this online form are as follows

Please Note: Only pre-admission form filling and payment of fees (optional) is online, rest of the procedure of admission is offline

  • Step 1 - Students are supposed to go to www.abhayacollege.com website than admissions where a link titled "Online Admission" is available.
  • Step 2 - Students need to create account first by entering valid email ID and password.
  • Step 3 - Once user registered now student can login in student account and proceed for admission form given online.
  • Step 4 - Admission Form Part 1
    All students should carefully their own class of admission Name Sex Dans of Birth Place of Birth Religion Category Adhar Cand Neo & Sub-cate All these enthes should be done as per the College Leaving Certificate. Any emor on your part at this stage may result in toss of admission And also mention University Pre-Enrollment Form No Mandatory
  • Step 5 - Admission Form Part I Notification
    any student is from any of the reserved caste category then he/she would be guided to a notification, which the student has to read carefully and click on it saying, "I have understood and agreed".
  • Step 6 - Admission Form Part 1
    A student has to scan hiaher latest photo (front side only) and his/her authentic signature. The photo size wit be maximum 100KB and signature maximum size will be in 50KB, if it is more than mentioned NB the term cannot proceed further
  • Step 7 - Admission Form Part II
    The Student is supposed to enter his complete postal address with city pin code and the student Mobile Number & Guardian Mobile Number, carefully Please do not mention others Mobile Numbers.
  • Step 8 - Admission Form Part III
    Choose optional subjects which you wish to offer If you choose a subject with limited seats then you shall get a pop up window which shall ask you to provide more alternatives for the chosen subject This step is compulsory. In case you do not make the required choice then you will not get the desired subject combination. Also, you should note that the subject will be allotted on the basis of student's merit and availability of seats for a given subject (for subject details see the prospectus)
  • Step 9 - Admission Form Part IV
    The student is supposed to enter all his previous exam details in the system Month and Year is to be entered in the following format OCT-2018/March-2019 In place of Seat No. the student can enter his/her HSC Examination Seat No. Also mention the college name correctly
  • Step 10 Admission Form Part V
    Please fit in parent/guardian information carefully In case the parent/guardian has retired or is a house wife then please mention the present residential address.

After this step, please print the Pre-Admission Form on A4 size paper and submit the same in the admission room allotted on the day of admission as per Mumbai University Guidelines.

Please note that confirmation of admission and allotment of subject is strictly subject to the discretion of the college.

RULES CONCERNING ADMISSION

Admissions

Admissions to FYBA/FYB.Sc./FYB.Com classes will start after the declaration of the H.S.C examination results. Admission to other classes will start after the declaration of the results of the respective qualifying examinations

  1. Student seeking admission should apply in person during the hours notified for the purpose.
  2. Every student has to affox his/her photograph on the Admission form.
  3. A student seeking admission to the college shall have to present himself/herself along with an application in the prescribed form duty filled in and signed by him/her and by his/ her parent/guardian, for an interview with the Principal No admission shall be regarded as duly granted unless it is granted by the authority of the Principal and the necessary fees have been received by the college.
  4. All admissions are valid only for one academic year and are required to be renewed by application in the prescribed form for every subsequent year of study in the college.
  5. Normally, a student of this college who has qualified himself/herself for admission to a higher class, will be admitted to such a class, provided an application for the purpose, in the prescribed form, duly filled in, has been received with the necessary fees within the notified period
  6. Once a student is admitted to the college he shall be liable to pay full fees for the whole term
  7. A student once admitted will be considered as duly enrolled for the academic year, unless he/she informs the Principal, in writing of his/her intention to leave the college at least a week before the commencement of the Second Term. If no such intimation is received, full fees for the Second Term will have to be paid.
  8. For admission to any class it is necessary to produce in original:
    1. Statement of Marks
    2. Passing Certificate other than Maharashtra Board Students
    3. No Objection Certificate from the Head of the institution last attended in the case of students from other colleges joining the S.Y and TY classes
    4. Eligibility Certificate from the University of Mumbai in the case of the students passing an examination other than the H.S.C. examination of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Pune or an Examination of any University other than the University of Mumbai, as the case may be.
  9. Admission remains provisional until Migration Certificate/Final Eligibility Certificate Passing Certificate/Transference Certificate is submitted to the college.
  10. Student who fails to pay his/her fees and other dues on the prescribed date will have to pay the fine as decided by the Principal
  11. The caution Money will be returned only on the dates notified by the college for the purpose. The prescribed form for the withdrawal of the Caution Money will be available in the college office.

Rules for Admission to Semester I (FYBA / FYBCOM / FYBSC)

  1. A student who has passed the higher secondary Certificate Examination conducted by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Pune, or an Examination recognised equivalent thereto in Arts, Science or Commerce Stream or in bifocal Vocational Course, Technical Commerce Group or bifocal Vocational Course, under Technical Group Commerce Group/or MCVC Technical Group/Commerce Group will be eligible for admission to the FYBA class
  2. A student who has passed the HSC Examination conducted by the said Board or an Examination recognised equivalent thereto in Science Stream or in bifocal Vocational Course under Technical Group, will be eligible for admission to the FYBA class.
  3. A student who has passed the HSC Examination conducted by the said Board in subjects English, a Modem Indian Language or Modern Foreign languages and any four subjects from among the subjects Economics, Book-Keeping and Accountancy. Organisation of Commerce, Geography, Mathematics & Statistics, Secretarial Practice, Cooperation or with English and any one vocational subject carrying 200 marks and three subjects from among the subjects under the Faculty of Commerce, each carrying 100 marks or who has passed the F.Y.B. Com Examination under the "Old course", or an Examination recognised equivalent thereto, will be eligible for admission to the F.Y.B. Com class.
  4. Seats are reserved for Backward class Students as per Govt. Rules: Students belonging to the Backward Classes are required to submit the Caste Certificate issued by the Competent Authority in the State of Maharashtra.
  5. A candidate who has passed post 5.5.C. (5) X) Three Year Engineering ( Technology Diploma course is eligible for direct admission to Second Year of the BSc degree course
    OR
    A candidate who has passed post H.S.C. Diploma (one year after XII std.) of Maharas State Board of Technical Education or AICTE approved or any other recognosd Government body in information Technology / Computer Technology / Compo Engineering/ Computer Science / Electrical, Electronics and Video Engineering and Allied Branches / Mechanical and Allied Branches/ Production and Allied Branches/ Chemical and Allied Branches is eligible for direct admission to the Second Year of the B.Sc. degree course.
    Further that such students of Engineering/Technology courses should offer Foundation Course Il and any two of the following subject at S.Y.B.Sc.
    Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics
  6. Eligibility:
    1. Documents required for eligibility from students of Other State Board or University
    2. XII Marksheet (Original & Photocopy) b) XII Passing certificate (Original & Photocopy)
    3. Migration Certificate (Original & Photocopy)
    4. Transfer Certificate or College Leaving Certificate (Original & Photocopy)

Instructions Regarding Courses

  1. Students should note that they will not be permitted to change subject/s once offered.
  2. Provision for teaching various subjects depends upon the availability of a minimum number of 24 students offering that subject at the point of entry. In case the minimum number is not available, the students will be permitted to change their subjects in conformity with the scheme given below.
  3. Students from other states / Foreign countries who have not studied any one of compulsory second language (Other than English) offered at the F.Y.B.A. level in this University are allowed to continue their studies at F.Y.B.A by offering one more subject
